The Mosaic was inspired by the hard bop and colorfully rich ballads of Dexter Gordon and the sounds of Steve Grossman. It can best be described as Dukoff Stubby meets No USA Link. The Mosaic presents with texture and colorful. Its tone is thicker and more complex than than any piece on the market.
The Isotope the first high baffled mouthpiece created by Phil-Tone in collaboration with Theo Wanne. It has power, volume and cut but it is easily controlled. When you want all of this and tone you deserve the Isotope.
Inspired by Links from the 40's and 50's The Intrepid is vibrant, powerful and extremely colorful. It projects while maintaining a balanced buzz and warmth through the range. Its sound is huge, enveloping and it blows extremely free. The Intrepid is an extensively hand worked piece that is beautifully voiced for a discerning palate.
Th Eclipse is a powerful mouthpiece with a rich, medium-dark core that has roundness and warmth, but with a scintillating brightness at its edge. This powerfully resonant piece can carry you through ballads or your loudest gigs.
The Sapphire is inspired by the Blue Note Era of the 1960’s. The piece was designed to bridge the gap between darker Slants and Early Babbitt Links. It affords infinite expression and excellent color and projection.
